!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Should I have been worried when I was an hour and ten minutes early and nobody was in line yet ? Maybe.
Well to say it simply it was half good and half bad ! I would watch it again just to watch the last half of the movie. This movie suffered a serious identity crisis. It tried to be a Scifi thriller comedy and then was repeatedly smacked in the face with random magic which turned the movie into a fantasy thriller failing at comedy.
I will admit that some of the fight scenes are too obvious. During the final boss fight, I might have shouted “Start with that next time” at some point... I had fun, I enjoyed a lot more than I didn’t, but it wasn’t worth driving from Snohomish into Seattle for.

I may get it on dvd to see some behind the scenes stuff and to see if we can find out why will smith somehow got his role ahead of many others.
I don’t know all information for Empress but I do know the other lady that wears the mask is supposed to be asian.
